We Care Today for Your Tomorrow

Age Concern Our Mission
  • Age Concern Barnstaple & District is concerned for the 'quality of life and the wellbeing' of older people in the local community.
  • We aim to improve the quality of life for older people and their carers.  We seek to ensure that they maintain their self-respect and independence and enjoy freedom of choice and equal opportunities.
  • We work locally with and for older people providing services on a social and practical level to enable them to live in their own homes for as long as it is safe for them to do so.
  • We aim to raise awareness of older people's issues and influence policy at local, regional and national levels.
